Fortress started as a dream between two college friends — Chayse and Patrick — sitting around a campfire just outside Lincoln, Nebraska. Chayse was a trainer tired of giving gyms most of what his clients paid. Patrick always knew he wanted to own something — he just hadn't found his thing yet.
They found it together. They packed up, moved to Loveland, Colorado, and started training people in school gyms, parks, and living rooms. No fancy equipment. Just real coaching and real results.
That reputation grew into a basement space, then into the building on 14th Street — formerly Schmidt's Bakery. Today, Patrick and his wife Alex run Fortress out of an expanded space with 24/7 access, a growing team of independent trainers, and a community that keeps showing up for each other.
Patrick's first client, Ron, still trains with him today.
